Russia attacked Sumy with KAB bombs; a child is among the casualties
Russian troops have once again launched an airstrike using guided bombs on Sumy. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were targeted.
“Residential buildings—which the enemy has attacked more than once—and other civilian infrastructure were hit. Unfortunately, two people are reported to have been killed in the Kovpakivskyi district. There are also at least three injured, including a child. All are receiving the necessary medical care,” the statement reads.
According to preliminary information, two people were killed and at least three others were injured as a result of the Russian airstrike. A child is among the injured.
Emergency and municipal services are currently working at the sites of the strikes. Specialists are dealing with the aftermath of the attack and verifying information about the extent of the damage and the number of casualties.
