Madyar: Russia may send the first conscripts to the front as early as October

Russia plans to mobilize up to 300,000 people by the end of the year, which could significantly increase the number of troops on the front lines. According to Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”), commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the first conscripts could be sent to the front lines as early as next month.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Brovdy stated that Russian leadership may be rushing to send recruits to the front without providing them with adequate training. He called this a transition from covert mobilization to an overt phase.

“The mobilization, which has already begun but is currently being carried out covertly, will take on legal status starting tomorrow,” Brovdi said.

According to him, Ukraine expects a significant increase in the number of Russian troops on the front lines as early as October. He called this a serious test for the Defense Forces and noted that the Ukrainian military had been preparing for such a turn of events.

Brovdi also suggested that due to the inadequate training of new Russian troops, their casualties could rise. In his view, the Russian leadership is rushing because of its plans to seize the Donbas and is disregarding seasonal conditions that could complicate offensive operations.
