In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, the railway came under attack for the second time in two days
In Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, on the night of September 29, a drone strike targeted railway infrastructure on the Trosna–Rzhanitsa section, damaging the tracks and a bridge.
Due to the incident, commuter train service was temporarily suspended, and passenger trains were rerouted. This is the second such attack in the region in the past two days. The day before, a drone strike on the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo section caused part of a railroad bridge to collapse, derailing 10 railcars, while in the Unetsky District, another 18 railcars derailed. In addition, a track in the Navlinsky District of the Bryansk Region and infrastructure in the Samara Region of Russia were damaged.
These strikes on Russia’s railway network are a response to the systematic shelling of Ukraine’s transportation infrastructure, which has resulted in more than 500 Ukrzaliznytsia locomotives being damaged since the start of the invasion.

In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, part of a railroad bridge collapsed as a result of a drone attack, and a total of 28 railcars derailed. This was reported by Yegor Kovalchuk, the region’s acting governor.
As a reminder, “ATESH” partisans disrupted rail transport in the Russian rear intended for military factories.
Earlier in Kostroma, Russia, partisans paralyzed the railroad used to supply fuel and equipment to military factories. As a result, there are no longer any safe havens left for the occupiers.
