Russia launched a drone attack on a Naftogaz crew's vehicle in the Kharkiv region

A Russian FPV drone attacked a “Gazmerezh” vehicle—part of the “Naftogaz” Group—in the Kharkiv region. Five employees were in the vehicle, on their way to perform repair work.

The incident occurred in one of the settlements of the Zolochiv community. The gas workers spotted the enemy drone in time and managed to get out of the vehicle before it was hit.

Thanks to the specialists’ quick reaction, no one was injured, though the vehicle itself sustained damage.

“This incident once again shows that the enemy is deliberately targeting people who are working to restore the gas infrastructure. However, despite the extremely difficult conditions, our colleagues continue to work to ensure that Ukrainians have a stable gas supply,” said Serhiy Fedorenko, acting chairman of the board of Naftogaz.

This marks the 14th Russian attack on “Gazmerzhi” employees since the beginning of 2026. Russian troops have been shelling crews both while they are responding to emergency calls and directly while they are performing repair work.

During this period, gas workers from the Naftogaz Group have resolved nearly 3,300 emergencies caused by Russian shelling and continue to restore gas supplies under difficult and dangerous conditions.

In the Bohodukhiv district, Russian FPV drones attacked civilian vehicles and killed two men.

As a reminder, a man was killed in Kherson by an explosion of a “Pelyustka” anti-personnel mine.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has identified those responsible for the shelling of the ATB supermarket in Chernihiv.
