Russia attacked the center of Konotop with drones and damaged key facilities

On the morning of July 10, Russian forces launched an attack using “Shahed”-type drones on the center of Konotop in the Sumy region. The attack damaged civilian facilities, including a school and a hospital.

The full extent of the damage caused by the enemy strike is currently being assessed. Relevant services are on the scene, clearing up the aftermath of the attack and assessing the scale of the damage.

Semenikhin reported that two jet-powered drones were flying toward the city. Unfortunately, there have been consequences. According to the mayor, one man was wounded as a result of the attack on the city.

“There was an impact in the city center. A 70-year-old man was injured. A school, a hospital, and boiler rooms were damaged…,” he wrote.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities as a result of the attack.

Semenikhin also shared images showing the aftermath of the enemy strike on the city center. The photos show damaged buildings, shattered windows, and debris scattered everywhere.

The occupiers attacked Konotop with drones; there are wounded.

In the Kherson region over the past day, 21 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling; the region came under massive attacks by drones, artillery, and aircraft. 

On the night of May 30, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the Shostka community in Sumy Oblast, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure.
