Russia Could Launch 200 Missiles: Madyar Reveals Details
Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, clarified his remarks regarding the possibility of Russia launching up to 200 missiles simultaneously. He emphasized that this refers not only to ballistic missiles but to the total number of weapons that Russia could potentially deploy during a single massive strike.
Brovdi also urged people not to share headlines that, in his opinion, distort the meaning of his comments to the Associated Press regarding Russia’s missile capabilities.
What exactly did Madyar mean?
“There are already enough triggers, ladies and gentlemen,” Brovdi wrote, urging people not to scare the public with their interpretations.
According to him, the AP article did indeed refer to 14% of the 100% required to carry out the Crimean operation, but certain conclusions about the capabilities of a Russian missile barrage were misrepresented in Ukrainian headlines.
"Please do not spread exaggerated and interpreted headlines and do not terrify exhausted people: don’t take a statement from the article—which says we can strike the enemy seven times more intensely—and use it to spread fear,” he noted.
Brovdi clarified that Russia is currently capable of launching a simultaneous barrage of more than 70 missiles of various types from different launch platforms. His estimate puts the number at 77 missiles.
Russia is expanding its capabilities
According to the SBS commander, Russia is working to increase its total simultaneous missile salvo to approximately 200 units.
However, this does not mean that Moscow will be able to launch 200 ballistic missiles simultaneously.
“The adversary is working to increase its simultaneous salvo to 200 units, but this does not apply exclusively to ballistic missiles,” Brovdi emphasized.
Thus, the previously circulated statement regarding a possible increase in the ballistic missile salvo to 200 missiles does not reflect his original statement.

As a reminder, a gas station and a factory were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of the attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
