The pace of the Russian Federation's offensive has increased over the past week to spring levels – DeepState
According to the DeepState analytical project, last week Russian occupiers expanded their control over Ukrainian territories by 42.59 square kilometers, a rate consistent with the pace of their advance in March and April. This is more than six times the figure from the week before last.
The greatest advance was recorded in the Dobropillia sector of Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy captured 22.69 square kilometers, mostly outside populated areas. In the Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk sectors, the occupiers advanced 13.83 square kilometers. Specifically, in Kostiantynivka, about two-thirds of the territory is now in the “gray zone,” and the eastern, southern, and southwestern suburbs are occupied.
Advances were also recorded in the South Slobozhanshchyna (3.15 square kilometers), Huliaipole (1.94 square kilometers), and Sumy (0.98 square kilometers) sectors. On average, the area under occupation increased by 6.1 square kilometers per day, compared to 1 square kilometer per day a week earlier.

As a reminder, a Russian attack on the Poltava region damaged a gas station and a business.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of the attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
