Russia shelled Sumy with long-range artillery; one person was wounded

On September 19, Russian troops struck Sumy with long-range artillery. The shelling damaged infrastructure facilities and wounded a man.

 

Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“This morning, Russia struck Sumy with long-range artillery. The enemy directed its artillery strikes at the city’s infrastructure facilities in various neighborhoods,” the official wrote.

According to him, a hit was recorded at one of the city’s municipal utilities.

“A man was injured (his condition is being assessed),” Kryvosheyenko reported.

He added that private vehicles and infrastructure facilities were damaged at three locations.

As a reminder, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties over the past day. One tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were also destroyed.

Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18. 

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
