Russia struck Zaporizhzhia with KAB bombs; there is one fatality and several people were injured
On the morning of July 27, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs and a drone. At least one person was killed in the strikes, and there are casualties. Rescuers pulled a 22-year-old man alive from the rubble of a destroyed building; he sustained injuries.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Fedorov initially reported the destruction caused by the enemy attack and noted that a person might be trapped under the rubble.

It later emerged that a Russian drone had damaged an apartment in a high-rise building. “Two people were injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. A Russian drone damaged an apartment in a high-rise building. A 53-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were injured,” he said.

Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported a fatality. “Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. A Russian guided aerial bomb destroyed a private home in the regional center and killed a 67-year-old man. There may still be people trapped under the rubble,” Fedorov noted.

Subsequently, rescuers managed to free another victim from under the rubble.
“He’s alive! In Zaporizhzhia, a 22-year-old man was pulled from the rubble of a building destroyed by a Russian guided aerial bomb. He is under medical supervision, and his life is not in danger at this time,” added the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

As a reminder, Russia attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 50 times on July 25.
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 79 times.
