Over the course of a week, Russia launched nearly 1,700 drones, 1,630 guided munitions, and 95 missiles at Ukraine

Over the past week, Russian forces have deployed nearly 1,700 attack drones, more than 1,630 guided aerial bombs, and 95 missiles of various types against Ukraine, more than half of which were ballistic missiles. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On the night of July 26 alone, the occupiers fired 8 missiles and 136 UAVs. Kyiv and nine regions of Ukraine came under attack:

  • Kharkiv: One person was killed and nine were injured, including two children, when a drone struck residential buildings.

  • Kryvyi Rih: State Emergency Service units extinguished a fire at a construction supply store following an enemy strike.

  • Kyiv: Three people were injured as a result of a ballistic missile strike on the capital.

The head of state emphasized the critical need for the timely delivery of anti-ballistic air defense systems, noting that every interceptor missile in Ukraine’s systems protects the lives of citizens.
