Russia struck the Zaporizhzhia region with a KAB bomb; one person was killed and another wounded

On the morning of August 3, 2026, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia district with a guided aerial bomb. One man was killed in the strike, and another woman was injured.

 

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“An enemy guided aerial bomb destroyed private homes in Novotroitske, causing a fire. A 77-year-old man was killed, and an 85-year-old woman was injured. She is receiving the necessary medical care,” Fedorov said.

On the night of August 1, drones attacked several temporarily occupied cities in Ukraine. According to reports from monitoring Telegram channels, fires broke out following strikes in Zuhres, Berdyansk, Luhansk, Dolzhansk, and Sevastopol.

As a reminder, the Russian online marketplace Ozon evacuated employees from its logistics center in Zelenodolsk (Tatarstan) due to the threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones. After the alert ended, the warehouse resumed normal operations.

On the morning of July 31, drones attacked a warehouse complex in Zelenodolsk (Tatarstan, Russian Federation), where the logistics facilities of the Ozon and Wildberries marketplaces are located. Following this, a number of Ukrainian sources reported that strikes on Ozon warehouses might continue.
