Russia Will Send Another 300,000 People to the Front Starting in October – The Telegraph

A covert mobilization is underway in Russia, and a significant increase in Russian troop strength is expected on the front lines starting in October—reaching about 300,000 troops by the end of 2026. This was stated to The Telegraph by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to him, following the elections in Russia, the Kremlin will be able to resort to open mobilization and forcibly send untrained men to the front lines throughout October, November, and December.

Brovdi emphasized that the increase in the number of occupiers is already noticeable in September: during the first half of the month, the number of enemy personnel killed rose by 25% compared to the same period in August. The deployment of additional manpower will only mean an increase in enemy casualties and more work for the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he sees signs of Russia preparing for a new wave of mobilization and does not rule out an intensification of Moscow’s aggressive actions against European countries.

Following reports of a possible new wave of mobilization, Russians began actively searching for real estate abroad. Thailand has become one of the most popular destinations. Between January and August 2026, Russian citizens purchased 1,050 properties there for a total of $123.5 million, or 10.4 billion rubles. The number of transactions was 38% higher than during the same period last year.
