The Russians have intensified their attacks on the front line; 185 skirmishes took place over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, 185 combat engagements took place on the front lines. Russian troops actively stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions, deploying a total of 6,770 kamikaze drones and dropping 208 guided aerial bombs. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Kostiantynivka sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 34 assaults.
Russian troops continue to put pressure on Ukrainian positions across several sections of the front. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 185 combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours.
The occupiers actively used aircraft and drones. During this time, the Russian army launched one missile strike using 11 missiles, carried out 58 airstrikes, and dropped 208 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy launched 6,770 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,458 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas. The General Staff noted that Russian troops were most active in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions.
Situation in the North and East
Four combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian troops also carried out 50 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions six times. Fighting took place near Lyman and Starytsia, as well as in the direction of Okhrimivka and Vodyane. Two combat engagements were still ongoing at the time this report was prepared.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces carried out nine attacks. The enemy attempted to advance in the area of Zagrizove and toward Radkivka and Petropavlivka. One combat engagement was still ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 17 attempts by Russian troops to advance. Fighting took place near Karpivka, Zarichne, and Dibrova. Four clashes in this sector of the front were still ongoing.
Ukrainian forces repelled eight more attacks by Russian troops in the Sloviansk sector. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Riznykivka, Zakytne, Kryva Luka, Kaleniky, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat engagement remained active.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.
There were 34 assaults in the Kostiantynivka sector
The Kostiantynivka sector remains one of the hottest sections of the front. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 34 enemy assaults. The Russians attacked in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, and Illinivka. The enemy also attempted to advance toward Dovha Balka, Stepanivka, Toretsk, Novyi Donbas, and Kuchero-Yar.
Three combat engagements in this sector were still ongoing at the time this report was prepared. The high level of activity by Russian forces in this sector is linked to their attempts to advance closer to Kostiantynivka and create conditions for a further offensive. Ukrainian forces continue to repel these attacks.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 22 attacks
Russian forces carried out another 22 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance near Novoye Shakhovoye, Dorozhnoe, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka. Russian units also attacked in the direction of Shevchenko, Mirne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. One combat engagement was still ongoing at the time of this report.
Ukrainian forces struck enemy equipment and positions. According to preliminary data, 38 Russian soldiers were killed in this sector of the front, and another 16 occupiers were wounded. In addition, the Defense Forces destroyed four vehicles, a drone control center, and 22 Russian military shelters.
Another four artillery systems, six vehicles, four pieces of specialized equipment, and one electronic warfare system were damaged. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized 373 drones of various types.
What Happened in the South
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces launched one attack toward Ternove.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks. Russian troops attempted to advance toward Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Huliaipole.
At the same time, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations in the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk sectors. According to the General Staff, there were no significant changes in the situation on other sections of the front.
The Russians continue to rely on drones
The number of drones used by Russian forces draws particular attention in the report. Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers deployed 6,770 kamikaze drones.
