Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region in the past 24 hours; others were wounded

On September 16, Russian troops killed two residents of the Donetsk region and wounded five others. Residents of several settlements in the region were injured as a result of the shelling.

According to Vadym Filashkin, on September 16, Russian occupiers killed one person in Malotaranivka, Kramatorsk City Community, and another in Mayaky, Svyatogorsk Territorial Community.

Five more people were wounded. Specifically:

two people in Sloviansk;

two in Bilenke, Kramatorsk City Community;

one person in Malotaranivka, Kramatorsk City Community.

Thus, as a result of Russian attacks in the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, two people were killed and five others were wounded.

According to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the total number of victims of Russian aggression in the region stands at 4,309 dead and 10,463 wounded.

However, these figures do not include the dead and injured in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, on Facebook.

In the Sumy region, a 64-year-old man was killed as a result of Russian attacks, and 15 other people sustained injuries. Police are documenting the aftermath of the shelling and investigating the circumstances of the attacks.

In Kyiv, the number of people injured in the Russian missile and drone attack on September 17 has risen to 16. Among them are two children.

On the night of September 17, Russian troops carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine. The occupiers used ballistic and cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and more than 150 attack drones, focusing their main strikes on the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions.

Russia also launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.

Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.

On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District. Black smoke is rising from the site.

In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
