Russians struck a combine harvester in the Zaporizhzhia region with a drone, killing a farmer
In the Komyshuvakha community in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian troops attacked a combine harvester in a field with a drone. As a result of the strike, one employee of the agricultural enterprise was killed and another was wounded.
Law enforcement officers evacuated the victim’s body from the site of the attack.
It is reported that the occupiers directed a strike drone at an agricultural machine that two farm workers were repairing on the side of the road. As a result of the attack, a 32-year-old man was killed, and his 30-year-old colleague was injured. The combine itself caught fire.
“Police officers from the Vilnyansk territorial unit responded immediately to the report of the incident. They evacuated the body of the deceased man. The injured man was transported to a medical facility in Zaporizhzhia,” the statement reads.
The police added that information about the crime has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations, with the legal classification being Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (War Crimes).
