Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked the Chernihiv region 19 times. A woman was injured in the shelling, and a business and an administrative building were also damaged.
Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“In the middle of the day, the enemy launched a ‘Banderolla’ strike on Chernihiv. Trucks and windows in the administrative building were damaged. No one was injured,” Chaus said.

“We’re seeing good results in shooting down cruise missiles, but it’s not easy with ballistic missiles,” Zelenskyy said.
On September 8, Russian troops launched two “Shahed” missiles at the Kyiv–Sumy train. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to the Russian Federation’s attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
