In Pryluky, the Epicenter store burned down following a Russian attack
In Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, rescue workers extinguished a large-scale fire at a shopping center that broke out following a Russian attack on September 8.
The fire engulfed approximately 4,400 square meters. Due to the large amount of flammable materials, the flames spread rapidly, significantly complicating the firefighters’ efforts.
Possible follow-up strikes posed an additional threat. While fighting the fire, rescue workers had to leave the danger zone and take cover.
About 50 rescue workers and 15 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Two people were also injured as a result of the Russian attack—a woman born in 1974 and a man born in 1989. According to preliminary police reports, they suffered carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims are receiving outpatient medical care.

On September 8, during a Russian attack on Kyiv, a Russian drone struck the building housing the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel. The strike partially destroyed the building, and five employees of the TV channel were injured.
On September 8, Russian troops launched an attack with two “Shahed” drones on the Kyiv–Sumy train. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
