The Russians have launched 955 attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region; there are casualties

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces carried out 955 strikes on 58 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Eight people were wounded as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.

According to Ivan Fedorov, Russian troops carried out 22 airstrikes on settlements in the region over the past 24 hours.

The following settlements came under enemy attack: Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, Zarichne, Novorozivka, Myrivka, Tavriiske, Novotroitske, Lisne, Ternivka, Orikhiv, Chervonyi Yar, Vilnyanka, Vasynivka, Omelnyk, Preobrazhenka, Soniachne, Mykilske, Zelenyi Hai, and Novoselivka.

The occupiers also actively used drones. 744 UAVs of various types, primarily FPV drones, attacked Zaporizhzhia and dozens of settlements in the region.

In particular, Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Balabine, Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Zaporozhets, Veselyanka, Novoyakovlivka, Zapasne, Magdalynivka, Vilne, Bilenke, Mariivka, Stepnogorsk, Plavni, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Bilohirya, Charivne, Novoselivka, Hulyaypilsk, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Kopani, Dolynka, Rivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Rybne.

In addition, Russian troops twice used multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) against Novoyakovlivka and Zapasne.

A total of 187 artillery strikes were also recorded. They targeted Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Plavni, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Bilohirya, Charivne, Novoselivka, Hulyaypil, Hirky, Staroukrainka, Kopani, Dolynka, Rivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtsove, Novozaporizhzhia, and Rybne.

Over the past 24 hours, the relevant services received 82 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.

Thus, Russian troops continued their massive attacks on civilian infrastructure and populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region, using aircraft, strike UAVs, multiple-launch rocket systems, and artillery.

Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defense Council, reported this on Telegram.

Over the course of the past 24 hours—from the morning of October 5 to the morning of October 6—Russian troops carried out more than 30 strikes on 23 settlements in 14 territorial communities of the Sumy region. The enemy attacks resulted in one fatality and several injuries; damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings was also reported.

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and four other residents were wounded as a result of Russian aggression over the past 24 hours.

On October 5, the Russian army killed three residents of the Donetsk region. Another 11 people were wounded as a result of Russian attacks.

On the night of October 5, Russian troops launched 137 attack drones at Ukraine, including 49 rocket-powered ones. Defense forces shot down most of the drones, but some hits were recorded.

As a reminder, Russia struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.

Earlier, an explosion occurred in Odesa during a Russian attack.

In Sumy, a Russian FPV drone damaged three cars.
