The Russian army lost 1,440 soldiers in the past 24 hours
Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,440 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, total combat losses among Russian personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached approximately 1,438,990.
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed:
- 9 tanks;
- 8 armored combat vehicles;
- 70 artillery systems;
- 1 multiple-launch rocket system;
- 1,450 tactical-level drones;
- 8 ground-based robotic systems;
- 1 cruise missile;
- 453 vehicles and tanker trucks;
- 3 units of specialized equipment.
In total, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 12,217 tanks, 25,019 armored combat vehicles, 46,794 artillery systems, 1,969 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,518 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 428,286 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,944 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 125,811 vehicles and tankers, as well as 4,465 units of specialized equipment.
The General Staff noted that the data on Russian military losses is being refined.

As a reminder, on the night of July 26, Russian troops launched an attack on Kyiv, resulting in fires in the Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 1,029 strikes on 50 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and 12 others were wounded.
