Video: Power outages reported in occupied Crimea following explosions
On the night of July 26, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to reports from monitoring channels, Simferopol, Feodosia, and Yalta were under attack.
According to the Exilenova+ channel, the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant in Simferopol may have been the likely target of the attack. Local residents reported explosions in various parts of the city, and videos showing flashes were posted online.
Meanwhile, the monitoring channel “Crimean Wind” reported that between 2:12 a.m. and 2:24 a.m., a large number of drones were heard flying overhead and powerful explosions were heard in the Feodosia area.
According to preliminary information, the strikes may have targeted the radar station on Mount Tepe-Oba. Local residents also reported power outages and possible damage to a power substation.
As of this publication, there is no official confirmation of the consequences of the attack.
