A Russian attack destroyed the Kusum pharmaceutical plant in Sumy
On the morning of October 4, a Russian attack destroyed the production facility of the pharmaceutical company “Kusum” in Sumy. The strike killed Yevhen Miroshnychenko, an employee of the company who had worked in the engineering department since 2009.

Despite the loss of its production site in Sumy, “Kusum” continues to operate and plans to ensure uninterrupted supplies of medications to Ukraine.
The company has additional production facilities in India—in the cities of Indore and Bhiwadi. In the absence of regulatory obstacles, the company plans to use these facilities to restructure its production processes and maintain the supply of medicines.
“Kusum Pharm” has been operating in Ukraine since 2009 and manufactures medications for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drugs.
