Russian infantry is forced to cover 30 km on foot due to disrupted logistics in the south — Fedorov

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported that intensive strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea and in southern Ukraine have caused critical logistical problems for the Russian army

This has led to a series of crises that significantly limit the enemy’s maneuverability and combat effectiveness.

During a joint press conference with Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonsson in Kyiv, Fedorov noted that the Ukrainian military command does not disclose all the details of its operations in advance.

“What’s next? We’ll see later. You’ll definitely see it in Russian social media posts and from various sources of information. For now, we won’t spoil the surprise. But we are already seeing, for example in the south, certain sections of the front where Russian infantry—due to the collapse of their logistics—are marching 30 km on foot just to reach their positions,” the defense minister said.

According to him, the enemy is facing major difficulties in supplying frontline units with fuel for generators and other necessary equipment.

This problem is particularly acute for drone operators, which directly affects the intensity of combat operations.

The fuel situation in Crimea has become so acute that the occupying authorities attempted to impose restrictions on sales via QR codes, but this decision was later reversed due to a general shortage of the resource.

“In other words, a large number of crises are beginning to pile up, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Russians to resolve one crisis after another,” Fedorov emphasized.

Ukraine continues to carry out a 40-day operation aimed at exerting pressure on the aggressor state, with the goal of forcing Russia to make peace through the systematic destruction of its military capabilities.

International support plays a key role in this process, particularly due to the recent receipt of the first tranche of a European loan.

On Tuesday, the Ukrainian government officially confirmed the transfer of 3.9 billion euros from the European Union to the state budget, which will be used to strengthen the country’s defense-industrial complex.

This will make it possible to accelerate the procurement of necessary equipment and seize the initiative on the front lines.

Over the past 24 hours, 256 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines
