Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are not showing significant activity along the border — State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
No significant activity by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups is currently being observed along the Ukrainian-Russian border.
According to State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko, the enemy has not completely abandoned the use of such groups, so the threat they pose remains. Recently, attempts by such groups to carry out operations have been periodically recorded in the Sumy region.
At the same time, in the Sumy and Kharkiv sectors, the Russians have for a long time been relying primarily on infantry groups in an attempt to expand their zone of control and advance deeper into Ukraine.
Demchenko noted that the enemy has not achieved any significant successes thanks to the resilience of the Ukrainian military.

On the morning of September 2, Russian troops continued their attack on Ukraine with strike drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where air defense forces are operating.
On the night of September 1, Russia launched a massive strike against Ukraine using missiles and more than 170 drones. Air defense forces repelled the attack, during which the enemy used, among other things, “Iskander” and “Banderole” missiles.
