Russian drones attacked the border region of Chernihiv Oblast: four people were wounded
Over the past 24 hours, on June 29, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on border areas of the Chernihiv region. Four civilians were injured in the attack, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
This was reported by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
“Yesterday morning, the enemy struck a woodworking plant in Novhorod-Siverskyi with a ‘Molniya’ missile—the facade was damaged. At noon, a ‘Molniya’ strike damaged an administrative building, a residence, and cars in the city. An 84-year-old woman suffered an acoustic trauma. Late in the evening, a residential building and a passenger car were damaged by a ‘Lancet’ strike,” Chaus reported.
According to him, two civilian men were wounded during the day as a result of a “Gerbera” attack on a village in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community. The 51-year-old wounded man was transferred to the regional hospital, while the 55-year-old is receiving outpatient treatment.
In Semenivka, the Russians struck the grounds of the local hospital.
The enemy also struck Horodnya with “Gerbera” missiles, injuring a 67-year-old man and damaging a courtyard and a truck. In a village in the Horodnya district, a house caught fire after being hit by a “Molniya” missile.
Late in the evening in Ripky, a gas station and a store were damaged by “Gerbera” attacks.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that strikes on critical infrastructure and communications facilities were recorded over the past 24 hours.
In the Sumy region, ten people were injured as a result of a massive attack by Russian drones, including a woman who was seriously wounded with severe burns.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 56-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian shelling, and two other people, including a 13-year-old girl, were wounded. Enemy strikes affected several districts of the region at once, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
Russian troops carried out 924 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire. According to the regional military administration, one person was killed and 29 others were wounded, including three children.
