Russian occupiers killed an employee of the international humanitarian organization NPA
Russian troops shelled the village of Novopetrivka in the Vysokopil community in the Kherson region, killing a 24-year-old employee of the international humanitarian organization “Norwegian People’s Aid” (NPA).
According to preliminary reports, three other members of this humanitarian mission sustained injuries of varying severity during the enemy attack.
The enemy strike hit the territory of the Vysokopil community, where international specialists were carrying out tasks related to humanitarian clearance operations.
The victim of the shelling was a young specialist who was working on civilian safety. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration promptly released information about the tragic incident through his official communication channels.
“Russian terrorists killed an employee of the international humanitarian organization Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA),” said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of the deceased specialist, who was performing extremely important and dangerous work in the de-occupied part of the region.
The deceased was serving as part of a specialized team that was helping the region cope with the aftermath of the hostilities.
“The 24-year-old demining specialist sustained fatal injuries,” the head of the Regional Military Administration explained.
This incident once again confirms that Russian forces are deliberately targeting not only civilians but also members of international missions.
