Russian troops attacked a passenger bus in Nikopol using an FPV drone
On the morning of Tuesday, April 7, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a targeted terrorist attack against the civilian population of the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
A Russian drone struck a civilian bus carrying passengers, which was in the very center of the city at the time.
The consequences of the enemy attack were tragic: according to official data, three people were killed, and another 12 sustained injuries of varying severity.
The victims included “both bus passengers and city residents who were standing at the bus stop” waiting for public transportation.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, called this attack a premeditated war crime.
The official emphasized that the enemy drone operator clearly saw his target, so “this was not an accidental strike; it was deliberate terror against civilians.”
The head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, provided details regarding the victims of this bloody attack. According to him, two women and one man who did not manage to leave the bus in time were killed as a result of the explosion and fire.
All emergency services are currently working at the site of the strike, and medics are providing assistance to the wounded, some of whom are in critical condition.
Law enforcement officials are documenting evidence of yet another crime against humanity committed by the Russian Federation in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
“Against people who were simply going about their business,” wrote Oleksandr Hanzha, describing the cynicism of the occupiers’ actions.
Local authorities are urging residents of the frontline city to be as vigilant as possible and not to ignore air raid sirens.
