Russian forces attack rescue workers again in Donbas and Zaporizhzhia (photos)
In the morning, in one of the frontline settlements of Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces shelled a fire and rescue station. The strike damaged firefighting equipment, the building’s roof, doors, and windows. The personnel were in a shelter at the time, and no one was injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported.
Another attack was recorded in Dnipropetrovsk region. While extinguishing a fire in Synelnykove district, a drone strike damaged a fire truck. The rescuers had retreated to a safe distance, and there were no casualties.
Debris from a drone also fell near a parking lot in Obolon, damaging cars and a residential building. A fire broke out at the Dnipro Hotel on Khreshchatyk in Kyiv. The aftermath of the attack in the capital has been documented.
Separately, a bookstore “Sense” in Kyiv was covered for the third time with homophobic leaflets. Previously, luxury SUVs were set on fire in Kyiv, and two residents of Kirovohrad region were charged in a related investigation.
Additionally, animal rights activists criticized a humorous video posted by a blogger from Troieshchyna.
