A UAV operator from Spartan eliminated more than 1,600 invaders and was named a Hero of Ukraine
A drone operator from the 3rd "Spartan" Special Operations Brigade, with the call sign "Kruzak," was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine signed the corresponding decree. The soldier was awarded the Order of the Golden Star.
According to the brigade, “Kruzak” has eliminated more than 1,600 Russian servicemen since the start of the full-scale war. He is also credited with downing dozens of enemy drones and with instances where Russian soldiers surrendered after attacks by Ukrainian drones.
Previously, the soldier had been awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 2nd and 3rd classes.
