A Russian drone attacked an ambulance in the Sumy region
In the Hlukhiv community of Sumy Oblast, Russian troops carried out a targeted drone attack on an ambulance.
Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, reported the incident in a statement.
As a result of the hostile strike, three medical workers who were in the vehicle were injured.
The attack took place at night while the medics were performing their professional duties in the border region.
“Last night, the enemy treacherously attacked a medical vehicle. A Russian drone struck the vehicle in the Hlukhiv community,” noted the regional head, emphasizing the terrorist nature of the occupiers’ actions.
The injured medical workers were promptly provided with the necessary assistance. Currently, doctors assess their condition as stable; there is no immediate threat to the lives of the wounded, which gives hope for a speedy recovery.
In addition to the attack on medical personnel, another civilian man was reported wounded in the Sveska community. The Russian army continues to intensively shell settlements in the region, using various types of weapons to terrorize the civilian population.
The communities of Shostka, Mykolaiv, Yunakiv, Zno-Novgorod, Bilopil, Velykopysariv, and Bereziv came under heavy enemy fire.
