A Russian Shahed crossed the Moldovan border during an attack on the Odesa region
On the evening of August 10, a Russian “Shahed”-type attack drone violated Moldovan airspace during a massive Russian attack on the Odesa region. The incident occurred amid yet another strike by Russian forces on Ukraine’s southern regions.
The UAV entered from the direction of Ukraine, flew over Moldovan territory, and returned to Ukraine within a minute. According to the Air Operations Service of the Moldovan National Army, at 11:41 p.m., radars detected an object moving from the direction of the village of Stepanivka in the Odesa region. The drone entered Moldovan airspace near the village of Pryozerne in the Slobodzeya District.
At 11:42 p.m., the drone left Moldovan airspace and flew toward Ukraine—north of Stepanivka.
The Moldovan Ministry of Defense noted that the drone’s characteristics were similar to those of the Russian “Geran-3”—a jet-powered variant of the Shahed-238.
At approximately the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of a jet-powered strike drone in the Odesa region near settlements close to the border with Moldova.

As a reminder, a Russian attack on the Poltava region damaged a gas station and a factory.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
