Ukrainian defense forces repelled 248 attacks by Russian occupiers on the front lines
Over the past 24 hours, 248 combat engagements were recorded along the front line between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops.
The most intense and fierce fighting took place in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors, where the invaders have concentrated significant offensive forces.
Over the past day, the Russian aggressor launched three missile strikes using nine missiles and carried out 90 airstrikes, dropping 289 guided bombs on Ukrainian territory.
In addition, the enemy deployed a record number of unmanned aerial vehicles—10,031 kamikaze drones—and carried out 3,135 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions. In the Sumy region, the towns of Tovstodubove and Sumy were targeted by Russian airstrikes.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered powerful retaliatory strikes against the enemy’s rear and logistics.
Ukrainian defenders struck one unmanned aerial vehicle command post, six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems, and six command posts.
This significantly undermined the offensive capabilities of the Russian occupation forces in key sectors of the front line.
Over the past day, six clashes took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, and the aggressor carried out 74 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including six using multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units nine times in the area of Vovchansk, Lyman, and Starytsia, as well as toward Izbytske and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four enemy attempts to advance toward Radkivka and Kolisnykivka.
The situation remains quite tense in the Lyman sector, where the enemy attempted 16 times to breach Ukrainian defenses toward the settlements of Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and in the areas around the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Derylove, Zarichne, and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched 11 assaults toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka, as well as in the areas of Zakytne and Kalenyky. In the Kramatorsk sector, one clash with the enemy occurred in the Malynivka area.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian invaders were highly active, carrying out 23 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretsk, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled a massive offensive, halting 36 assault operations by the aggressor in the areas around the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udane, Rodynske, Novomykolaivka, and Filiya, as well as toward the settlements of Vasylivka, Bilytske, Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks toward Oleksandrohrad and Novoye Zaporozhye but was unsuccessful.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russian occupiers carried out 24 attacks toward the settlements of Dobropillia, Huliaipolsk, Hirke, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance in the area of Stepnogorsk and Stepove, while in the Dnipro sector, the invaders showed no activity over the past day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released an official report on the operational situation at the front as of 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026.
