Russia may intensify its missile and drone strikes on Ukraine, says Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia may intensify its attacks on Ukrainian territory.
According to the head of state, Russia may intensify its missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities and the civilian population.
“Putin is growing weaker—politically, on the battlefield, and physically. That is why he may intensify his attacks on us and our people with missiles and drones. Please use shelters. I urge you to do so,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The president also stressed that Ukraine is now indispensable to NATO de jure, since it is the Ukrainian army that is holding back full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation.
According to Zelenskyy, Vladimir Putin seeks to restore influence on the scale of the Soviet Union, and without Ukraine, achieving this goal is impossible.
Zelenskyy urged citizens not to ignore safety alerts and to make sure to take shelter during air raid warnings, warning of a possible intensification of shelling.
He made these remarks in comments to journalists.
