The Kremlin should cease fire and admit defeat, — Sibiga

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are carrying out long-range strikes on military targets on Russian territory using exclusively Ukrainian-made weapons.

He emphasized that these operations are the result of the development of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex, despite years of attempts by Russian propaganda to convince its own population that it is at war with the “collective West.”

According to the minister, the Russian dictator made a fatal strategic mistake by launching a full-scale invasion in 2022, and now the consequences for Russia are only intensifying.

Sibiga noted that sanctions, international isolation, and the extension of hostilities into Russian territory are deepening the internal crisis in the aggressor country.

“With every month that he refuses to acknowledge this and end this war, the situation for him and his regime will only get worse,” Sibiga emphasized.

The minister stressed that Russia still has a simple way out of the war—an order to cease fire.

“At any moment, Putin has a way out of this situation. He simply needs to order his occupying forces to cease fire and end the war,” he noted.

The diplomat wrote about this on his official page on social media platform X.

Sibiga also once again called on the Russian leadership to admit defeat and immediately cease hostilities.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a massive drone attack that allegedly took place on the night of June 19, 2026.

Meanwhile, operators from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully disabled a key logistics facility belonging to the Russian occupiers in annexed Crimea.
