Video: Drones attack Moscow and Moscow region
The Russian Federation reported another air attack, during which strike drones broke through the air defense line and entered the Moscow Region.
The situation around the Russian capital remains tense, as numerous aerial targets continue to move toward key infrastructure facilities in the region.
Russian authorities have urgently deployed additional forces to minimize the impact of the airstrike and locate the crash sites.
Official representatives of the local administration have already responded to the complex operational situation and reported on the initial results of the air defense systems’ operations.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated: “Six enemy UAVs flying toward Moscow have been destroyed. Emergency response specialists are working at the crash site.”
Despite regular assurances from Russian leadership that it has full control over its airspace, drones are increasingly reaching deep into the aggressor state’s rear.
Currently, an elevated danger level has been declared in several districts of the Moscow Region, and civil engineering services have been placed on emergency alert.
