In the Primorsky Krai of the Russian Federation, the “Shturmovik” and “Pikhotinets” children’s military camps have opened

A summer campaign of military-patriotic camps for teenagers has kicked off in Russia’s Primorye region. Two specialized camps—“Shturmovik” and “Pikhotinets”—have opened for boys aged 14 to 17.

The programs are implemented in partnership with DOSAAF and funded by the regional budget; participation is free for teenagers.

At the “Shturmovik” camp, participants undergo training as operators of ground-based control systems for drones weighing up to 30 kg. The program also includes drill training, instruction on the Kalashnikov assault rifle, the basics of tactical medicine, physical training, and meetings with veterans of the war against Ukraine.

The organizers state that the daily schedule closely mirrors that of the military.

Panic is growing among Moscow residents due to drone attacks.
