VIDEO: Russia acknowledged the strike on Nova Poshta and called it a logistics center for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack on a “Nova Poshta” branch in Sumy, which took place on June 17. The Russian ministry stated that the civilian facility was allegedly being used as a “logistics center for the Ukrainian Armed Forces” to store drones.
According to the Russian side, the strike was carried out by a “Geran” drone (the Russian name for Shahed kamikaze drones). Russian propaganda outlets also published a video of the attack.
Thus, Russia is effectively making no secret of its involvement in the strike on a civilian logistics facility.
As a reminder, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, causing a fire.
Prior to that, Russian drones struck the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving several people injured.
Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
