The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian dry cargo ship in the port of Berdyansk
The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully struck and completely disabled the Russian dry cargo ship *Lyonya Pestrikov* directly within the waters of the temporarily occupied Berdyansk seaport.
After a series of repeated precision strikes on the engine room, the enemy vessel lost all propulsion and sustained critical damage.
Thanks to this successful operation, the Russian Federation has irrevocably lost a key logistical asset it used to support its occupation forces.
The vessel had already come under initial fire two days earlier during a previous operation by Ukrainian forces.
As a result of that strike, the ship sustained serious holes and remained stranded at the port’s pier, as the invaders were unable to evacuate it even with the help of tugboats.

The final destruction of the logistics facility was carried out by Ukrainian “Zozulya”-type strike drones, which made two more precision strikes.
“The dry cargo ship ‘Lyonya Pestrikov,’ which we struck two days ago in the Berdyansk seaport, sustained significant damage and remained at the pier, unable to move; even the tugs couldn’t pull it away. It was sitting there until two more of its ‘Zozulya’ friends arrived and finally finished it off with two more strikes to the engine room. Now Kadyrov’s men will cut that ship up for scrap, and Russia has lost a significant logistical asset,” reads the report from the scene.
This was reported by the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment of the Luftwaffe.
