In the Donetsk region, 5 civilians were killed and 11 others wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of shelling by Russian forces
Over the past 24 hours, on June 3, Russian troops killed five civilians in the Donetsk region and wounded 11 others.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the majority of civilian casualties were recorded in two cities in the region. Three people were killed in Kramatorsk, and two in Druzhkivka.
In addition to the fatalities, 11 more people were wounded as a result of Russian attacks.
Specifically, four were wounded in Kramatorsk, three in Druzhkivka, two in Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, and one each in Sloviansk and Dobropillia.
The regional administration also noted that the total number of victims of Russian aggression in the region stands at 4,099 civilian deaths and 9,565 injured.
These figures do not include Mariupol and Volnovakha, where the number of victims is estimated to be significantly higher due to active hostilities and occupation.
The Regional Military Administration emphasizes that Russian strikes are systematically targeting civilian settlements in Donetsk Oblast, leading to a daily increase in the number of civilian deaths and injuries.
