In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a high-rise building, causing a fire
On the morning of June 4, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv, striking two districts of the city. A drone was reported to have hit a residential high-rise building, causing a fire. Details regarding the consequences are still being confirmed.
“Enemy drone strikes were recorded in the Nemyshlyanskyi and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, fires broke out. As of now, no reports of casualties have been received,” the post states.
Shortly thereafter, Synyegubov clarified that the UAV struck the roof of an apartment building in the Slobidska district.
“A fire broke out at the site of the strike. State Emergency Service units have already contained the blaze,” the head of the regional military administration said.
Russian troops continue to strike Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and energy sector workers. On the morning of June 4, the occupiers attacked a company vehicle belonging to Sumyoblenergo JSC, injuring an employee of the company.
The previous day, June 3, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and 17 other settlements in the region. Three people were killed in the attacks, and another 21 sustained injuries of varying severity.
In the Kyiv region, efforts are underway to extinguish a large-scale fire at an industrial facility caused by a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Units of the State Emergency Service are involved in the firefighting, and cleanup operations are ongoing.
On the night of June 4, Russian forces carried out a massive air attack using a ballistic missile and 293 drones of various types. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 264 aerial targets.
