Defense forces struck the Tamanneftgaz oil and gas terminal in the Krasnodar Krai

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck one of the largest oil and gas terminals in southern Russia—"Tamanneftogaz." The strike caused tanks and infrastructure components to catch fire, and the facility sustained serious damage.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tamanneftogaz oil and gas terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, which is one of the key hubs for the transshipment of petroleum products in southern Russia. The attack caused fires in the tanks and infrastructure of the facility, which supports the logistics of Russian energy exports.

According to the SBU, the operation involved the “Alpha” Special Operations Center, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. The strike on the terminal was comprehensive and targeted key elements of its operations. “Tamanneftegaz” is the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in southern Russia. Significant volumes of petroleum products pass through it, which are then distributed or exported.

According to the SBU, the strike damaged five storage tanks containing petroleum products and two oil loading stands. Fires were reported in the area of the facility, engulfing not only the tank farm but also the freight vehicle parking area and warehouse infrastructure.

It is also noted that Russian air defense positions covering the terminal were also hit. According to the Ukrainian side, this further complicated the ability to respond to the attack.

The SBU emphasizes that such facilities are of strategic importance to Russia, as they ensure the uninterrupted operation of oil and gas logistics, particularly export routes through southern ports. This was reported by the SBU.

Overnight, Ukrainian defense forces launched a series of strikes against Russian military and industrial facilities in several regions simultaneously, targeting oil infrastructure, command posts, and troop concentrations.

The occupation administration in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region reported new strikes on transport infrastructure leading to Crimea.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a series of explosions rang out on the night of June 11, after which damage to infrastructure and fires were reported in several settlements. In particular, two road bridges were damaged in Armiansk, and a fire broke out near a military unit in Sevastopol.
