Defense forces have struck at least 30% of the oil storage tanks in Ust-Luga
Ukrainian defenders have inflicted critical damage on the infrastructure of the strategic port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Oblast following a series of successful attacks.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine officially confirmed the extent of the damage.
According to preliminary estimates, at least 30% of all oil storage tanks at this important Baltic facility were hit.
This port is one of the key hubs for the export of Russian energy resources, so its damage significantly impacts the aggressor country’s budget.
“At least 30% of the storage tanks in Ust-Luga were damaged as a result of the recent attacks on the Russian port,” Andriy Kovalenko reported.
Such losses create long-term problems for the logistics of oil products across the Baltic Sea.
Throughout March, drones repeatedly attacked targets in the Leningrad region, focusing specifically on the enemy’s energy infrastructure.
Due to constant drone raids, fuel loading in Ust-Luga was completely halted at the end of last month.

According to analysis of photos and videos from local residents, the Bashneft-Novoyl plant, which is part of Rosneft, was hit.
