Russian drones attacked a residential building in Zaporizhzhia

Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia for several hours straight. Residential areas of the city were hit, and a high-rise building was damaged. At least four people were injured in the attack. Among the injured is a woman whose condition was initially assessed as serious.

 

On the night of June 4, Russian forces once again attacked Zaporizhzhia with strike drones. An air raid alert in the city lasted several hours. During this time, residents heard explosions, and air defense forces engaged enemy targets.

During one of the attacks, a residential high-rise building was damaged. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the strike. “The enemy continues to attack Zaporizhzhia with drones. A building has been damaged. Preliminary reports indicate there are casualties,” he said. Initial reports indicated three casualties. According to Fedorov, two men and a woman were injured.

The condition of one of the victims was of particular concern. “The woman is in serious condition. Everyone is receiving medical care,” the regional head noted. Rescue workers, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the site of the strike. Experts began inspecting the damaged building and checking whether anyone remained trapped under the rubble or in dangerous areas.

It later became known that the number of injured had increased. According to updated information, four people were injured. Among them are two men and two women. “Two men and two women were injured. All are under medical supervision,” said Ivan Fedorov. Currently, doctors are continuing to provide assistance to the victims and assessing their condition.
