In Kherson, Russian troops attacked an ambulance that was on a medical call, injuring two medical workers. The strike hit the hospital grounds in the city’s Dniprovskyi district. The victims suffered concussions and blast injuries.
In Kherson, Russian occupation forces once again struck a target with no connection to military operations; this time, the strike hit an emergency medical vehicle that was near one of the hospitals in the Dniprovskyi district and was performing its direct duties.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, two medical workers—a 64-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man—were injured during the attack while standing near the vehicle and performing their duties. They were diagnosed with concussions and blast injuries that required immediate medical attention.
The service vehicle also sustained serious damage: the windshield and rear window were shattered, and the doors were damaged by debris, effectively rendering the vehicle unusable without repairs.
Following the initial strike, additional information appeared on the Telegram channels of the Regional Military Administration and city authorities regarding another victim—a 59-year-old medical worker who sustained an explosive-blast injury and was poisoned by combustion products during the fire that broke out after the attack.
He was provided with the necessary medical care, and his condition now allows him to continue treatment on an outpatient basis. Authorities emphasize that such attacks on civilian infrastructure and medical personnel are systematic and pose a constant threat to those who save lives every day in this frontline city.
