Defense forces repelled 174 attacks and halted a large-scale assault on Pokrovsk
Over the past 24 hours, 174 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, during which Ukrainian defenders steadfastly repelled the advance of the occupying forces.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors, where the enemy has concentrated significant forces in an attempt to break through our defenses.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike with two missiles and carried out 78 airstrikes, dropping 239 guided bombs on Ukrainian cities and military positions.
The occupiers are actively using unmanned technologies: 8,953 kamikaze drones were deployed over the past 24 hours. Settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions came under fire, including Pokrovske, Orikhiv, and Malokaterynivka.
In total, 3,232 attacks on our troops’ positions were recorded, of which 101 were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems. Despite such intense fire, the Defense Forces’ aviation and artillery operated effectively.
Ten areas where the aggressor’s personnel and equipment were concentrated were struck, and three enemy artillery pieces were destroyed.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 30 assault attempts in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and toward Bilytske.
The enemy is attempting to advance deeper into the territory but is being decisively repelled. In the Kostiantynivka sector, 19 attacks were recorded near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, and Novopavlivka, where defenders also held their positions.
The situation is no less challenging in the Kupiansk direction, where the aggressor launched 17 attacks toward Kupiansk and surrounding settlements.
In the Lyman and Sloviansk sectors, the enemy’s attempts to breach the defenses near Drobysheve and Rai-Oleksandrivka proved futile.
Each such attempt to advance results in significant losses of equipment and personnel for the occupiers.
In the Huliaipole sector, 22 attacks were launched toward Huliaipole and Dobropillia. The enemy is attempting to expand its zone of control, but Ukrainian units are delivering effective firepower.
In the Dnipro direction, three unsuccessful assaults toward the Antonivsky Bridge were recorded, which yielded no results for the invaders.
