Satellites have captured images of the aftermath of the strike on a petrochemical plant in Bashkortostan, Russia
Satellite images have been published online confirming damage to the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant in the city of Sterlitamak (Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation).
Journalists from the "Schemes" project have released satellite images that clearly show the aftermath of the attack by Ukrainian drones on the facility in Sterlitamak, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The images show thick black smoke rising over the plant’s grounds, as well as signs of damage to production facilities.
The journalists note that this evidence confirms the consequences of a Ukrainian drone strike on a strategic facility deep within Russian territory.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian drone command previously reported striking this facility. The plant is significant for Russian industry, particularly in the production of fuel components and chemical products for industrial use.

The Russian side officially confirmed the attack but did not disclose the extent of the damage.
