Power and internet outages reported in Moscow region following UAV alerts
Residents of the town of Ramenskoye in the Moscow region have been left without electricity and are reporting disruptions to internet services. The local district administration stated that an emergency power outage had occurred and promised that electricity would be restored within two hours, according to Russian media reports.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) had been destroyed while approaching the Russian capital. Local residents are linking the power and communications outages directly to these events. “Emergency crews are already working to eliminate the malfunction, and electricity supply is expected to be restored shortly,” the Ramenskoye municipal administration said.
Meanwhile, residents report temporary internet disruptions, which are complicating work and communication during the alert period.
