In Dnipro, the Russians attacked a VARUS store again
On September 10, a VARUS warehouse in Dnipro was damaged as a result of yet another Russian attack. This facility had already sustained damage during shelling in the spring.
In the evening, Russian troops attacked Dnipro again. The strike damaged a VARUS warehouse, which had previously sustained damage. The company reported that none of its employees were injured.
After the attack, the premises caught fire. Thanks to the prompt response of State Emergency Service (SES) rescuers, some of the goods were saved. VARUS thanked the SES staff for their help in dealing with the aftermath of the strike.
The salvaged products have already begun to be removed from the warehouse. The company reported that it plans to deliver the goods to supermarket shelves.
VARUS noted that some of the undamaged products may have a slight smell of smoke. The company explained this by the fact that part of the inventory was located in a room that was exposed to the fire.
“We are already loading these goods and transporting them to supermarket shelves. So, if you happen to notice a slight smell of smoke coming from the packaging—don’t be surprised; it’s the true scent of our shared strength,” the statement reads.
The company also emphasized that the chain will continue to serve the residents of Dnipro amid the war.
As a reminder, Russia struck energy infrastructure in southern Ukraine.
In Zaporizhzhia, 6,700 customers were left without power due to the enemy attack.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region following an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
