Nearly 2,700 civilians remain in the Druzhkivka community in Donetsk Oblast
There are still 2,695 civilians living in the Druzhkivka City Territorial Community in Donetsk Oblast. Despite the hostilities, nearly 2,700 people remain in the community.
This figure was cited during an online briefing at the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
“There are a total of 2,695 people in the Druzhkivka territorial community,” said Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the regional administration’s Department for Children’s Affairs, noting that there are no children among them.
According to Dmytro Pozharskyi, head of the Department for Special Categories of Citizens, the evacuation from the community is still ongoing, and law enforcement officers are risking their lives to get people out from under the shelling.
“The security situation in Druzhkivka is extremely tense. Officers from the ‘White Angel’ unit are heroically evacuating people… Residents who do not leave in a timely manner risk not only their own lives but also the lives of those who will come later to help them,” Pozharsky stated, according to Ukrinform.
Ukraine’s air defense forces have shot down 135 of the 163 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country’s territory since the evening of September 2.
On September 3, a man was injured in the Boryspil district of Kyiv Oblast as a result of a Russian attack. It is known that one person was wounded by the enemy strike.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, debris from a downed Russian strike drone caused a fire in the warehouse of one of the local enterprises. The fire covered an area of 200 square meters, according to Serhiy Tyurin, head of the regional military administration.
Over the past day, 15 private homes were damaged in the Mykolaiv region as a result of attacks by Russian Shahed-type strike drones. A social services building and three cars were also damaged, according to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Heorhiy Reshetilov.
