Propagandist Solovyov imagined concentration camps for Russians in Germany

Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov called on Russian citizens currently in Germany to return to Russia immediately. During a broadcast of his program, he claimed that “concentration camps for Russians” had allegedly already been built in Germany and that preparations were underway to persecute them based on their ethnicity.

The Kremlin mouthpiece urged his compatriots to abandon their illusions and not to remain in Europe amid the war. Statements of this nature are part of Russia’s disinformation campaign aimed at intimidating its own population and creating an image of European countries as the enemy.

As part of an operation called “Matryoshka,” hundreds of fake news stories and videos created using artificial intelligence were disseminated, without any evidence to support the allegations made.

Russia has sharply intensified its anti-Ukrainian information campaign in Poland. The volume of manipulative content directed against Ukraine has increased by 250%, and the Kremlin is using bot networks and artificial intelligence to spread it.
