Thick smoke rose in Zhytomyr following a Russian attack on Saturday, September 5. Local Telegram channels are reporting that a “Nova Poshta” facility may have been hit.

Eyewitnesses reported a large-scale fire and smoke that was visible from various parts of the city. Residents were urged to remain in shelters and close their windows.

Prior to the attack, an air raid alert was issued in the Zhytomyr region due to the threat of strikes by Russian drones.
